If you have less than half a day or only 2 hours to spare and would still like to experience the wonderful world of scuba, then SHORE DIVE is tailor made for you.
Platypus invites you, come scuba dive in Vizag and explore the beautiful colourful waters, with wide range of marine life, in the reef, just behind of our Dive centre (Shore Dive).
What is SHORE DIVE?
Shore Diving that involves entering into Ocean by walking with scuba gear from the beach directly into the ocean.
Our trainer (Instructor / Dive Master) will give you on-site dive training, on the shore. Subsequently, he will guide you underwater, for a wonderful dive experience, lasting for about 35 - 45 minutes & up to a depth of 9 meters or less, depends on your comfort.
While scuba diving, one Instructor will always be with you, for your safety and for those Instagram moments, photographs & videos of your underwater adventures are on us!
Note:
• Total duration of the activity : Min. 2 hrs – Max. half day depends on chosen package or No. of dives.
• Medically Fit (contact before booking if there will be any doubt regarding any health issue)
• Maximum safest depth : 09 meters (as per international standards)

Things that you need to bring:
1. Towel
2. Extra pair of undergarments and clothes.
3. Carry a phone/pen-drive to get the videos.
4. Carry your own sunglasses & cap to protect you from the sun.
5. If you want to wear your own clothes (shorts & t-shirt)or swimwear you can carry (photos will be different) if you don’t have will provide you half wetsuit.
Note:
- Have some lite breakfast like fruits or anything.
- 18% GST is excluded.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
# Due to weather conditions or from centre side if activity will be cancelled at any moment, full refund will be applicable.
# If activity will be cancelled by the client before entering into the Ocean, 50% of the total amount will be chargeable or non-refundable.
# If one quits the any kind of water sports activity experience during training or has boarded the boat or started the activity, it will be fully non-refundable.
Equipment
Candidates using the company’s equipment for any kind of service opted for are responsible for that equipment and will be charged for any loss or damage howsoever caused.
Personal Belongings
Neither the company or its employees can be held responsible for damage to or loss of any personal belongings caused prior to, during or after any diving activities.
Weather Conditions
Trips or activities are subject to weather conditions and may be cancelled at the discretion of the Dive Centre. Alternate days or refunds will be offered in the event of cancellations policy.
